Malo e lelei readers and welcome back to my blog,
Today I will be sharing with you a video I watched and what I learnt from it. It was about Tonga and Sunday. Tonga is fully closed on Sundays because it is the day to rest for everyone. The only 3 things you can do is eat, sleep and go to church. You are not even allowed to do chores or play loud music. It's so strict that you cant even work except the people that work in the hospitals and police stations. When it's Sunday the only noises you can hear is church bells and prayers. That is all that I learnt and maybe you can learn more from this video. Just press on the link and it will take you to the video. Have an amazing day! Toki sio!
Malo e lelei Sadiyah, Do you think it would be good for us all to have a Sunday like in Tonga? I think it would be lovely.I guess you would have to prepare food the day before because that would be 'work'.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see how other people live? Do you think so too?
Malo e lelei Diane, I don't really think it would be good for us to have Sunday like in Tonga because we won't get to have fun like going to the pools or the store. Also all we would be doing is resting and going to church. I think its interesting to see how they live in Tonga too.
DeleteMālō e lelei Sadiyah,
ReplyDeleteThis is a brilliant blog post. Thank you for sharing what you learned with us. I always find it interesting to learn about new cultures and the traditions. I didn't know that you could only do 3 things on a Sunday in Tonga. It sounds like a very special day for them.
Malo aupito Sadiyah.
Malo e lelei Whaea Miki,

Mālō e lelei Sadiyah.Thank you for sharing what you learnt.I like the idea of not having to do chores.I think we all need days where we can focus on ourselves.
