How to Stay Safe on a Mountain

Hello readers and welcome back to my blog,
W.A.L.T. use prior knowledge gained from texts to learn about mountain safety. Today I will be sharing with you my Mountain Safety activity that we did in reading. Ravenclaw is the group that I am in and the whole Ravenclaw group had to find out information about Mountain Safety. We had to check out for websites that my teacher gave us. These are the websites, Mountain Climbing - KiddleLand Safety Code7 Safety TipsHiking Tips for Beginners. I mostly got all my ideas from Hiking Tips for Beginners. I learnt that we have to wear grippy shoes, pack lots of snacks/drink bottles, tell someone where you are going and when you plan to be back, to download a offline map if you get lost and to have a good mindset. Then we had to make a poster about it. My poster has 6 ideas. I hope you enjoy it and learn a lot from it. Something I did well was that I added good pictures and something that I think that i need to improve is to add more words.  Please don't forget to comment I'll really appreciate it. Ciao!

  1. You've included some great ideas Sadiayh.I realise that there are many that you could add,but you only have a small space.
I like the idea of telling someone where you are going and taking a phone with you.
    Have a great week.

3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question
