Today we finished reading the book Holes so we had to do a book review. We had to add a picture in the middle of the cover of the book Holes. We had to write what the book was about and what ages are the book for. We had to write what the key themes in the novel were. We had to write the book title name, the author of the book and if the book is non-fiction or fiction. This is my work and hope you like it.
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question

What a good review Sadyah.
ReplyDeleteI have read some of this book to the kids in room 10 and I remember some of what happened. The guards were not very kind to the boys. The boys spent long hours digging without little rest or food.
I did like your explanation for the age of children.
Well done.
Have a great holiday. One more week till school is back:)
