In writing we are learning to persuade other peoples ideas. (Change other peoples opinions.) We created a hamburger planner so we could copy the work on a Jamboard. On our Jamboard we had to write our statement at the top then have 3 reasons, and underneath that we had to have 2 more backup reasons for our reasons. After we were done all that we had to put it all together and make a conclusion. I also added a background that relates to the statement. Today I will be sharing with you my cybersmart poster. We have been learning how to stay safe online in ravenclaw/reading. We had to look at a bunch of different sites and find information about how to stay safe online. I got most of my information from a video. Then I had to choose some information and write just a little sentence but it has to tell everything. Then I decided to add some pictures that relate to it. I added a big title in the middle. Today I will be sharing with you something that we have been learning in persuasive writing. We had to pick a statement from these slides. (Start on slide 6.) Then we had to go on this website, you can go on it if you like. First we had to write our name, then we had to write the title of the statement. After that we had to write the thesis of the statement. Then we had to right 3 reasons then 3 backup reasons for each of the reasons. Then we had to write a conclusion of the two main reasons. Today I will be telling you about my first pet. My mum got him more then a week ago but it definitely has not been 2 weeks since we got him. I am not going to tell you what animal he is so you will have to guess with the hints I will give you throughout the story. When we first saw him we were really surprised and he was really scared of us because we were really excited and he had never seen us before. We found out that he was only 2 months old. He was in a white fancy cage and there was already a food bowl and a water bowl for him. The cage matched his skin color because the cage was white and light blue at the bottom. His cage was small so my neighbors decided to give their old pet's cage to us. Now the cage is fully black. We didn't name him because he was already named by his old owner, and also my mum got it free from her client. Her client didn't want him anymore because she already has two other same animals. Anyways my pet has really small feet and shaped weirdly. My pet his treats on a long stick that looks like a sausage because the treats are in chunks/little balls. You probably know what my pet animal is but if you don't, IT'S A BIRD!!! His name is Dean by the ways and it is also a Muslim name so he is a Muslim too now because he's part of the family.
